MIFF-BY-THE-SEA 2010
We are delighted to again bring to Bar Harbor a “best-of-the-fest” selection from this summer’s 13th Maine International Film Festival. Please look at the schedule of films that we will show, from early afternoon to late at night. Things kick off on Friday at 4pm with a catered opening celebration ($15) when we will honor MIFF Mid-Life Achievement Honoree Jay Cocks who will present his Oscar-nominated THE AGE OF INNOCENCE at 5:45pm. Over the weekend several filmmakers from across the country have graciously offered to attend to talk about their work. Film descriptions are available here on the website, or if you don’t have access, please ask at the theatre and we will have a printed sheet to give out. Full Program booklets will be available at Reel Pizza soon. Tickets are now available for $8.00, in advance at the box office or over the phone with a credit card (add 50c service); for the festival, no Big Tickets or Gold Tickets will be honored. We hope you will join us during this special weekend.
